Here’s what some of my customers say about my hand crafted calls:
I was very, very impressed with your Persimmon slate that Jimmy Haskins used at Bostick Plantation this past week. The season opens up here in Ohio and Indiana in mid-April so I’m looking forward to trying out the Persimmon Hill Call. Thanks a million for the great service. I just opened your package, and I am absolutely thrilled with my new slate…..and it’s personalized to boot!!!!
I can’t make up my mind which striker I like best, the 2pc or 1 pc….both seem fabulous. The only thing I know for sure is that I’m selling my Cody slates on EBay. They don’t compare with the Persimmon Hill Calls. Thanks for the fast shipment and great service. Using your Persimmons Hill “Slate over Glass” call, I took this 23lb 3oz gobbler….11” beard…1” spurs… yesterday in Northern Kentucky. He (and two of his buddies) came running in ‘like a house afire’ to the Persimmon Hill Call. I can’t tell you how happy I am with my new Persimmons! And as I did sell my Cody on Ebay!!!!
Thanks again.
Thanks for talking with me today. As I was saying, the last week of the season I called in a tom with your striker on a glass slate. I had to call very soft, I think the birds were pretty call shy on public property. I shot him, and in the excitement I must have left the striker in the woods. It was the best feeling striker I’ve ever had and I hate putting up my turkey stuff without another one. You said to drop you a line and you would send me a new one! THANK YOU!
2013 was a great year for me Jim. Using your Box call and Slate I called in and killed 4 gobblers. Best year I’ve ever had. Thanks so much and God Bless.
I bought your glass call at the Sportsman Classic last month. I’ve been hunting turkeys for over 20 years and like most hunters have 30 or so turkey calls, including some of those made by the big companies. I want you to know that none of them compare to my Persimmon Hill Glass Call. The rollover and pitch is the best I’ve ever heard. The quality and craftsmanship is unsurpassed. Keep up the good work Jim and I’ll drop by and see you next year.
Jim, received my “Neil Cost “style call in the mail today and I am truly impressed with the beauty, craftsmanship and sound of this call. You really know what you’re doing when it comes to making calls. You better believe it has a place in the front of my turkey vest. Thanks so much.
